Mental Health Resources Day Galveston
Creative Mental Wellness is excited to announce the expansion of MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES DAY (MHRD) into Galveston County!
After successful events in Houston and Dallas, this initiative continues to grow—bringing communities together to improve access to mental health, behavioral health, and substance use resources.
What is MHRD?
MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES DAY is a free, welcoming event where community members can:
✔️ Connect with local providers
✔️ Learn about available resources
✔️ Attend educational speaker panels
✔️ Explore ways to strengthen their mental wellness
All in one place—and all with a focus on support, connection, and empowerment.
Why It Matters
Too often, people struggle to find the help they need—not because resources don’t exist, but because they’re hard to locate or navigate.
MHRD helps change that.
By bringing organizations together in one space, we make it easier for individuals and families to take that first step toward support.
Join the Movement
We believe mental wellness starts with connection—and that supporting others is part of supporting ourselves.
Walk in. Connect & learn. Walk out empowered—together & stronger.
DAISY’s Little Sprouts: Growing Emotional Wellness Early
DAISY’s Little Sprouts is a guided, in-person book club experience that uses carefully selected children’s literature to nurture emotional literacy, empathy, resilience, and connection. Through storytelling, simple discussion prompts, and playful engagement, children are introduced to age-appropriate concepts related to feelings, coping skills, kindness, and community.
