DAISY’s Book Club
Keven’s Choice: A Mother’s Journey Through Her Son’s Mental Illness, Addiction and Suicide by Barbara Legere is DAISY’s choice for March. Because this book deals with self-harm, suicide, grief, and addiction, it may be too challenging or triggering for some to read, but it can be informative and even helpful to read someone else’s story.

Updates in the Mental Health Sphere and DAISY’s World
Research suggests that there is a link between oral health and depression, and that it actually works in both directions. Which is to say, poor oral health can cause or worsen depression and vice versa.
This also may seem obvious to some, but studies are finding that there is an inverse relationship between self love and self harm.
